General Surgery

The SCORE^® Curriculum Outline for General Surgery (pdf) is a list of topics to be covered in a five-year general surgery residency training program. Originally published in 2008, the outline is updated annually.

Complex General Surgical Oncology

• The SCORE Curriculum Outline for Complex General Surgical Oncology (pdf) is designed to be completed over the course of a 24-month Surgical Oncology Training Program and represents core education in Complex General Surgical Oncology.

Pediatric Surgery

• The SCORE Curriculum Outline for Pediatric Surgery (pdf) lists patient care topics to be covered in a two-year pediatric surgery training program.

Surgical Critical Care

• The SCORE Curriculum Outline for Surgical Critical Care (xlsx) lists patient care topics to be covered in a two-year surgical critical care training program.

Vascular Surgery

• The SCORE Curriculum Outline for Vascular Surgery (pdf) lists patient care topics to be covered in a five-year integrated or two-year independent vascular surgery training program.

About SCORE

SCORE was formed in 2006 as a nonprofit consortium by the principal organizations involved in U.S. surgical education, with the mission of improving the education of trainees in general surgery and its related specialties.
