Call for Volunteers - VS QE Writing Committee

The Vascular Surgery Board of the American Board of Surgery (VSB-ABS) is seeking volunteers from the vascular surgery community to serve as members of the Vascular Surgery Qualifying Examination (VS QE) Consultant Committee. Members of this committee will have the responsibilities of writing 10-15 new VS QE questions per year; reviewing and critiquing questions written by other consultants; and attending one committee meeting per year in Philadelphia.
The appointment is for an initial three-year term, with the possibility of reappointment for additional years. Question writing work would begin this summer.
Potential volunteers should have at least five years in practice following initial certification in vascular surgery and be meeting the requirements of the ABS Maintenance of Certification Program. Applications from community-based and academic practices are encouraged.
