The General Surgery Board, Vascular Surgery Board, Pediatric Surgery Board, Complex General Surgical Oncology Board and Trauma, Burns and Surgical Critical Care Board, stand together as the American Board of Surgery along with the ABS Council and Board of Directors, and recognize the talent, expertise and valuable contributions of LGBTQIA+ individuals within the house of surgery and in the medical community at large.
