The American Board of Surgery (ABS) and the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS) are currently developing a Focused Practice Designation in Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery. One critical step in this process is to develop a test blueprint for the exam. Test blueprints are documents that reflect the content of an assessment, and it is important that these documents accurately reflect current practice and training.
To ensure that the test blueprint aligns with the knowledge and skills required of practicing metabolic and bariatric surgeons, we invite you to review and provide feedback on the draft document. If you would like to comment on this document, please follow the steps below. Your feedback will be used to inform further revisions to the blueprint.
